• Bigger is not always better -  In looking for a steam vapor cleaner, a larger boiler may sound like a way to go for longer running time but remember.....when pressure is released during the cleaning process, the longer you will wait for it to recover pressure and more power is needed to heat larger mass. Heating time can run up to 25 minutes on a 4 qt. boiler and 5 -6 minutes to rebuild pressure while in use.....more info

• Hose Length - How do they measure up? -  Quality manufacturer's should design their hose length for optimal pressure and temperature to maintain the standards of sanitizing and cleaning test results, a  7 - 8 ft hose is the length of choice primarily by many manufacturer's. Extending length beyond what a machine is designed for can compromise temperature necessary for sanitizing and optimal cleaning. I love this machine!!!! I purchased this unit a couple weeks ago for home use and can not express how pleased I am with it. I previously had a Shark and this unit is so vastly superior.
When I read how long the tank would provide steam, I was sceptical. Then when I began using it, I could not believe how quiet it was nor how effectively it cleaned compared to the Shark. On one tank, I cleaned the ceramic tile floors in the kitchen, hallway, foyer, bathroom and a toilet. This would have taken many refills with the Shark and a huge amount of waiting time for cool down, refill and reheating. I was also surprised with the machine's wheels; they offer no resistance, its as though it floats on air. Everything you claim is true.

My wife managed to gain control (briefly) and could not believe how little pressure was needed to use the floor brush and how well it cleaned the tile.
You have a truly GREAT product.

Thank you for the quick response.
Our steam cleaner came in yesterday afternoon. Before the machine even came in I bought gallons of distilled water and packs of terry cloth towels. After cleaning all afternoon yesterday and a good part of today we now have a 5 gallon pail full of filthy black towels. I am a navy vet and my wife is active navy. We can both clean to military standards, and its almost embarrassing what came up with the steam. It convinced me how much dirt that cleaning products hold to the surface even after scrubbing and rinsing. We were able to clean mold from window sills, that no other product touched and steamed the mattresses and larger quilts. As a bonus, my wife steamed stains out of her navy whites after the dry cleaners, (failed to) attempted to pretreat and dry clean them.
I felt like a TV huckster as I steam cleaned our microwave dish. Even after dishwashing the microwave dish, the steam cleaner took off a heavy layer of grease. With our family living in military housing this steam cleaner is going to be the last thing packed, and one of the first items opened. Thank you, R. Friese     READ MORE

As a former "Lady Bug" owner and steam clean advocate. Let me tell you how pleased I am with the TR6. Right out of the box I could tell that the attachments are heavier duty. Being familiar with steam cleaning it took me just seconds to get started. I filled the machine plugged it in and turned it on. I was really surprised when the ready light came on so quickly. I really thought I had misread the ready light. I would still be waiting for the Lady Bug to heat up. Not believing it was ready, I flipped the switch on the handle and volumes of steam came out! The TR6 definitely produces more steam than the Lady Bug. While cleaning I noticed the hand grip was more comfortable and the steam switch was a true on/off switch not requiring constant pressure like on the Lady Bug. The caster were smoother on the TR6 gliding from tile to carpet with less effort The longer hose and electrical cord made it even better. I was able to 
clean my kitchen and adjoining hallway without moving to another outlet. I was so busy cleaning that I didn't realize I had gone past my normal cleaning area set by the cord length of the Lady Bug.
You may be wondering why I bought another steam cleaner? Currently my Lady Bug is not working. And the problem is a simply one that has not been corrected by the manufacture. The electronic circuit board keeps going out. Small amounts of steam that could leak from the drain plug if not properly tighten can condense on the circuitry. It's not a hazard or anything like that but it does cost 142.00 plus shipping (one-way) and down time to have it fixed. I know I have had 3 of them replaced. You figure 3 boards and shipping it is not that far off from the price of the TR6. I hated to scrap the Lady Bug but I knew until the manufacture coated the circuit board with a waterproofing It would be a constant problem and expense. When I called your 
company the first thing I asked was if the circuit board was protected from steam. If it were not, I would had gone to another manufacture. The nice lady on the phone said it was coated so I 
placed my order. I figured that if they, the engineers of the TR6 knew enough to waterproof the circuit-board than they had probably thought-out many other features of the machine. Many of the most important things are on the inside that the consumer will never see. That's what makes a great machine. It's very obvious to me that the TR6 is far superior to the Lady Bug. One more example... The hose connector on the Lady Bug is capable of leaking steam that could damage or short the electrical connections where the hose plugs into the machine. In the TR6 the steam and electrical connections are compartmentalized eliminating this possible failure point.

I could go on and on... But in a nut shell the TR6 is twice the machine of a Lady Bug and half the cost. Now I know I have been slamming the Lady Bug pretty hard but on the positive side it was a steam cleaner, and that is the best way to clean. My first steam cleaner was a $200 a clean-n-wait-n-fill-n-wait etc... So from my humble beginnings till today I feel like I have reached to top! One more... There is a place on the TR6 to roll the lengthy electrical cord! Thank you! Thank You!
